lets’ quote a statement from former US President Bill Clinton, who
said in the Congress on January 19, 1999 that today there are many such
old schools in the US that are either crumbling down or they are so full
that the students study in containers. No American child must finish
school and get his diploma while he does not know how to read. Various
questions flash across the mind when we focus on Clinton’s words. What
will the situation in the United States be in 2010? Would this country
disintegrate in the 21st century? We
will try in the first phase to take a look at the scenario of the US
disintegration in the 21st century. This is a geopolitical
story about the future that is based on some objective tendencies of
development of modern US society. The author for the first time brought
up this theory in 1998 at the international conference on communications
war that was attended by 43 countries in Austria. We have determined
three factors responsible for the US disintegration. The first factor is
related to psychological issues. Today the US society is on the verge of
a psychological catastrophe. The second factor is economic. The putting
into circulation of the European foreign currency will gradually destroy
the US financial system. The 3rd factor is the US effort to
dominate the world that is beginning to boomerang on the US with daily
increasing resistance against Washington throughout the world. The major
objective of this plan is to find new understandings of the incidents
and phenomena that occur in the world around us. Reason
number one is psychosocial: The US was considered as the only world
super power from 1991-2001 but this 10 year leadership of the world by
the US has also become the origin of the growth of many negative
tendencies in the US society such as the rapid growth of a tense
situation between all US ethnic groups. In reality this is the major
threat for the United States’ existence as a united country. Many
extraordinary incidents in the US, the moral scandal of former President
Bill Clinton and the occurrence of several shooting incidents in schools
and companies all indicate that the US society is on the verge of a
psychological break down and that its moral downfall has begun. Zirkman,
a US thinker and editor-in-chief of the ‘US News and World Report’
magazine in explanation of the moral decline in the US writes in his
editorial under the title What has Happened to Our Values: Crime,
violence, drugs, the tearing apart of families, deviation in social and
scientific activities, the contamination of social sites by drug
traffickers, criminal gangs etc…Do we now accept as part of our life
what we previously hated and considered deviated? Each week in the US
more than 500 murders, more than 2000 rapes and more than 1300 robberies
take place. The
March 15 1999 edition of the daily Washington Post wrote that there are
8.1 million people in US prisons. The writer based on statistics from
the US judicial department wrote that from 1985 to 1998 the 744 thousand
prisoners have tripled and now out of every 150 thousand American people
one is in jail. Of course, the latest figures are far higher and
indicated the crisis in the US. In this same period the number of
criminals who have been punished has increased from 313 to 668 in every
100 000 people. According to information at hand 25 % of American girls
under the age of 12 are raped. According to statistics from the US
organization of women immoral acts by 38% of girls aged 13 unwillingly
leads to sexual relations and 70 % of all American girls are the victims
of rape efforts. In August 1998 an 8-year-old boy was arrested in the US
on the charge of rape. He was the youngest rapist in US history. In the
year 2000 a 6-year-old American boy deliberately killing a girl of his
own age was condemned as the youngest killer in American history. The
shocking incident happened in a school near Detroit. A 6-year-old first
grade boy after a verbal quarrel with his girl classmate brought a gun
to school and shot her. The bullet hit her neck and she died half an
hour later. Around
25% of American men are sodomists or homosexuals. Every year around
200,000 of them stage large demonstrations in LOS Angeles. The
ethical-moral crisis in the US can lead to that country’s
disintegration in the 21st century. The US is on the verge of
an internal psychological catastrophe that is speeding up its downfall.
The daily Washington post said that from 1986 to 1997 the number of
children left to their own fate in the US has increased from 3 million
to 5.1 million. The majority of these children become addicted to drugs
or alcohol. In addition violence is about to explode in the US. For
example, in the US capital there is 17 times more violence that any
European capital. Another testimony to the internal psychological crisis
in the US is the rate of suicide among Vietnam war veterans. In Vietnam
around 40 thousand US troops were killed but after the military
operations around 120 thousand veterans committed suicide. All
of us are used to seeing luxurious pictures of Los Angeles where
billionaires and Hollywood stars live. But this tourist postcard has
another side too and that is the tears of the family members and the
funerals for victims of street violence and the open extending horror of
racial pressure and poverty that manifest themselves once in a while.
The contradictions between cultures have faced the US society with a
problem. Different races and nationalities are not easily combined with
one another in the US. The different viewpoints of different cultures
toward each other lead to the emergence of confrontations and problems
that might one day lead to differences and bloody clashes. Today in the
US there is a kind of hostility between an intangible nationality which
despite apparent equality and respect for human rights is becoming more
acute and might ultimately lead to killing, bloodshed, and interracial
hostility among the whites, blacks, Indians, yellow skinned, and
Hispanics as well as other races in America. In the US there are around
500 extremist organizations the majority of which have separatist, anti
Zionist and anti-white supremacist tendencies. For example, Texans call
for the independence of their state and had planned to assassinate
former US President Clinton. They cite historical evidence that the
Americans have forcibly annexed Texas from Mexico. There are more than
50 fascist organizations in New York State alone. The
2nd factor is economy. Today the United States’ foreign
debts to other countries are around 2.2 trillion dollars and the
government’s internal debts are more than 6 trillion. The euro has
gradually faced the US financial system with problems. This financial
chaos strongly intensifies the concerns of the US society. Currently US
financial markets remind us of a pyramid that is in the last phases of
destruction and forecasts about the future of US financial markets are
not optimistic. In reality the US is sitting on a bomb that might
explode at any moment. Lee Cheney an economist from the state of New
Mexico and member of London’s economic research council believes that
the US is on the verge of bankruptcy. The Americans must pay 47% of
their income as taxes and pay 81 % of their income for loans and
credits. This amount of taxes is called internal debt and the government
does not have enough money to repay this sum; the country’s banks
cannot print enough banknotes and this has led the Americans toward a
financial slavery. The source of the US governments’ income is only
taxes. The government in order to pay people’s loans and credits has
to gain 81% of their income and this is practically not possible.
Internal debts rise by 500 million dollars each year. (2) The
factor that the US effort for unilateral domination of the world is
faced with more and more resistance in the world. Newt Gingrich a senior
Expert of the US institute of employers and Peter Schweitzer the Author
of the book 'Reagan’s War' in the 21st January 2003 edition
of the Los Angeles Times wrote that opinion polls throughout the world
show that many people outside the US consider the Americans to be
egoists, invaders and having the intention to dominate the world. Such a
mindset dominates US foreign policy and has led to worldwide hatred of
the US. In the past years the US geopolitical facilities have
continuously decreased. An instance of this issue is the unsuccessful US
effort in the spring of 2002 to topple Venezuela’s elected President,
Hugo Chavez. The US also carried out other measures to topple him in
late 2002 that were also unsuccessful. This is while in 1973 the US
succeeded in toppling the elected government of Salvador Allende in
Chile. In Iraq too we all witness that US efforts are a reminder of
another Vietnam. The world wants the US to stop polluting the earth, for
the US releases 30 % of the world’s total waste into the earth’s
atmosphere and is not interested in protecting the environment or
joining related pacts. The explosion of a US shuttle in February 2003 is
another indication of the US gradual downfall. The death of 7 astronauts
in this incident is regretful more than anything else, but on the other
hand it is a reason for analyzing the main cause of this incident and
other regrettable cases in the US. After the crash of the shuttle, two
fires took place in the US that killed 150 people. Then there was the
fire at New York’s’ oil refinery. In another super power that is
China no such regrettable incident has occurred. The toppling of the
symbols of US power that is the twin world trade center towers in New
York, the explosion of shuttles, the horrific expectance of the people
for the occurrence of terrorist attacks, the intense weakening of the
dollar in the face of the euro and the bankruptcy of big national
corporations increase the possibility of the demise of the US unlimited
domination over the world. Undoubtedly
the US from the viewpoint of potential scientific, technical, financial,
war and intelligence power will be much more powerful than the Soviet
union after its disintegration, but the US resistance is not unlimited.
Considering testimonies, it can be said that during the two terms that
Bill Clinton was in office the height of the US development as a country
that played the role of the world’s economic locomotive led to the
scientific and technical progress of the liberal society, but during the
first term in office of George W. Bush this locomotive did not work like
before. Renowned US political Expert Zbignew Berzhinsky once said that a
powerful axis of intelligence war was necessary for the Soviet Union’s
disintegration and the main blow on its body were its last president
Mikhail Gorbachev’s reforms. In one of his recent interviews he said
that the US Empire will also collapse sooner or later. The recent
incidents show that the US is passing through conditions similar to what
the Soviet Union passed through in the last years of its existence and
the main blow for the beginning of the US disintegration was the
incident of Sept 11, 2001. The borders of the world empire with its
capital Washington are not in accordance with the geographic
characteristics of the United states and this empire also encompasses
Canada, Western Europe, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Intelligence
domination and strong united military pacts as well as joint values will
protect this empire from disintegrating until the analytical structure
of the US continues its activity with power and effectiveness. In our
opinion losing the necessary expertise by US analysts has led to the
reduction of the US intelligence domination over the world and this in
turn has led to the trend of the disintegration of Washington’s
Empire, long before the differences between the US on one side and
France and Germany on the other regarding Iraq and the friction in
US-South Korea ties over Pyongyang emerged. The
emergences of the European Union and the European Rapid Reaction Force
have to a considerable extent reduced Europe’s military and economic
dependence on the USA. The disintegrating empire, with its massive
propaganda in introducing its own stooge Saddam as the Hitler of the
age, tried to invite world countries to take part in its war in Iraq in
order to strengthen its pillars of power but such a tactic did not
influence Europe. At any rate France and Germany as major West European
powers with a developed economy decided not to come to the US aid. In
return the weak eastern European countries towed the US line. The US
called on the world’s big powers to coordinate their policies with its
own, but France and Germany refused to do so. After the straining of
trans-Atlantic ties that led to the weakening of the US intelligence and
foreign policy influence, different incidents took place in US internal
affairs. Suddenly the US economy was an empty bubble and the US citizens
were afraid to come on the streets. For they might be shot or an
airplane might suddenly attack the city. The US people are not
interested in buying expensive goods with the dollar that is
continuously losing its value. Undoubtedly under such conditions the
Americans can be encouraged to be scared of terrorism and this will lead
to their solidarity but due to the fact that the war in Iraq became a
long term one unlike what was expected, and turned into a partisan war
it further disrupted the US internal political situation. The explosion
of the shuttle Columbia isn’t insignificant and alongside the
suspicious attacks on Washington and New York, weak national economy and
the increase of differences with America’s European allies it is
another sign of the imminent disintegration of the US. In the same way
that the damages to Moscow’s MIR space station heralded the downfall
of the Soviet union, Columbia’s explosion and the long delay in space
activities can be considered a sign of the beginning of the US
scientific downfall. Some people in the US may still be duped by the
empty statements of their leaders who are neck-deep in crisis and do not
want to believe that their country is disintegrating. They have pinned
their hope on a kind of show of military power by the US, for example a
war, which if started will definitely ring the death knell for the USA.
